Dubghost

Details

Ectoplasm Zone was an archived project abandoned by the Company to establish communication with realms beyond our own, specifically dead domains. Straightforward in theory yet impossible in practice, its failure was expected. Despite decades of failed attempts and complete absence of verifiable results, facilities connected to the project were unexpectedly declared active in a public announcement released by an anonymous source. At time of announcement, no researchers were found on site, and buildings had long been left to decay. Something is not right.

Evidence suggests the reactivation is tied to an individual deeply familiar with the project’s inner workings, someone with knowledge that should no longer exist. Within the complex lies technology both scientific and alienating, devices so unconventional that not even the Company fully understands them. Whatever occurred during the final experiments produced consequences beyond projected outcomes, and its remnants remain etched into the facility itself. Machines and equipment continue to malfunction without explanation. Numerous audio and visual anomalies have been reported and documented, while recovered recordings often end abruptly or contain sounds never previously cataloged. Countless bodies remain scattered throughout the complex, yet no signs of physical trauma or evidence of foul play have been documented. The only consistent finding is extensive internal damage to the auditory system. Something has gone terribly wrong within this place.

Despite the danger, the Company now considers the site an asset of significant interest. Internal investigations no longer focus on cause of the incident, but on possibility of salvage. Yet even with all its resources, knowledge, and calculated precision, the Company is required to obey a single warning, one repeated throughout recovered documents and written in silence left behind by the dead.

Woe and listen, hear the echoes chambered within, a sorrowful mastery over the tranquility of both noise and static, an obsession with songs that shatter the world’s veil.

A uniquely composed instrumental electric guitar. Upon handling this instrument, the user constantly bops their head. Inside this accursed veil lies a musical potential that reverbs well with Shamisen Echo Chamber. 1 second weapon cooldown.
